The aim of the research is to process the archaeological finds uncovered at a complex settlement of the Tisza culture, categorized by source groups, and to reconstruct their structured assemblages within a GIS-based spatial model. The project focuses on the integration of ceramic fragments, clay figurines, stone and bone tools, and archaeozoological remains unearthed in Öcsöd between 1980 and 1985 into a unified geoinformatic system. This approach allows the diverse find assemblages to be visualized in spatial relation to the excavated archaeological features (such as houses, pits, hearths, etc.). The statistical basis of the practical work is provided by nearly 40,000 decorated ceramic fragments and their digital processing. Additionally, we aim to date the most characteristic spatial find associations using targeted AMS sampling, thereby outlining a complex spatial-temporal framework for the Neolithic settlement on the Middle Tisza region around the turn of the 6th–5th millennia BCE.
